University of Applied Sciences Westfälische Hochschule Bocholt

The canteen of the Westfälische Hochschule Bocholt was renovated. In January 2022 the new, mod-ernized canteen was reopened on the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Bocholt.

The white, sterile furniture was replaced by chairs and tables in a natural wood look. Together with the rustic ceiling lamps in loft style and the view of the lake of the campus, the canteen offers a new room concept where a cosy atmosphere can be experienced. The catering concept has also been sub-ject to revision. As a culinary highlight, delicious pizza variations are now tempting. They can be fresh-ly prepared on site and still served steamy thanks to the new pizza oven. At the action counter, the guests can also choose from various national and international classics, complemented by sweet dessert specialties as well as by snacks and sandwiches. Another technical feature is the new self-service counter, with which visitors can compile and portion the changing daily dishes, pasta, salads, and the like according to their own wishes. The system recognizes the selected product by scales or cameras, books it automatically. So long queues and waiting times can be avoided.

The company kpc took over the planning and implementation of the room and catering concept as well as the kitchen equipment.
